HEIR TO ROST’AHT

A selfish romantic obsession led Rost’aht Vurn away from the traditional lifeway the Leyra’an people follow, and left him estranged from family and friends. Now, he is lost and bedeviled by self-doubt. Remaining in Bartram Habitat, he will find no answer to the question of who he needs to be. And so, like his brother, Vurn leaves the star system in which he was born, hoping to find himself through new experiences elsewhere.

But his journey has barely begun when events many parsecs distant divert him, sending him on an errand for an old friend. It is a quest to unravel a mystery in the Parnese star system, one that will prove more dangerous than anyone could have expected. For Vurn is not the only one seeking that answer. And someone in the Parnese system is using a Faceless technology known to attract a dangerous entity, one capable of killing stars.
